All Tools for Life: Secondary Transition and Technology Fairs are coordinated and sponsored by the Idaho Interagency Council on Secondary Transition, the Idaho State Department of Education, the Idaho Council on Developmental Disabilities, and the Idaho Assistive Technology Project. Tools for Life is for anyone who has an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities as they transition from school to life. Idaho Educators, Post Secondary Educators, therapists, counselors, service providers, job developers, and other rehabilitation specialists, and especially secondary students with disabilities and their families are encouraged to attend. The event includes presentations by national and regional experts on issues surrounding secondary transition and assistive technology. In-service credits for professionals are always available.
In order to make the Fair more accessible to students and families across Idaho, the Fair now travels around the state. In 2008, the Fair was in Idaho Falls. The 2009 Fair was in Coeur d'Alene and will return to Boise in March 2010.
